On Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 6:30 PM the Tektronix Corporation presented an exhibit to InfoAge honoring the corporation's founder, Howard Vollum.

Howard Vollum contributed to the WW2 victory in England and also in the US at Camp Evans.  He assisted the British with advanced radar development and when he returned to the US he worked at Camp Evans on mortar locating radar development.   After the war he returned home and put his advanced electronics knowledge to work to form the Tektronix Corporation.

As the WW2 Living Memorial  we are pleased his corporation presented InfoAge this exhibit. Howard Vollum is a stellar example of the electronic heroes who helped bring about the allied victory and then drive the post war electronics industry.

The ceremony is open to the public.
