WWI Exhibit

During WWI the property we now call Camp Evans was the Marconi High Powered Station.  It was involved in WWI as the central dispatching point for wireless message between Washington, D.C. and U.S. Forces in Europe.

We posted an introductory story of the WWI period when the Belmar Station was run by the U.S. Navy and guarded by a company of U.S. Marines

InfoAge hosts a WWI exhibit in the Marconi Hotel building.  It was created by Dr. Richard Connors and family.
