Over several weekends, the team from the Computer Deconstruction laboratory and the Vintage Computing Federation installed new fiber optic cables to support the Museum’s continuous expansion and communication needs at 10GB speeds.
The end result is a campus-wide, fault tolerant network that was designed to support data, telecommunications, and video systems throughout the National Historic Landmark.
